Basic Overview of Concept
As believers, our responsive love for God drives everything we do. In that sense all ministry is Passion Driven. Christ is the center and everything we do is driven by and to Him. Ministries develop from our passion, but they mix with purpose to become unique cultural experiences. Each of these opportunities is Purpose Directed. Purpose directed means that everything our group does is prioritized by scriptural mandates. We want to be about the work of God, not just the things we did last year. We evaluate everything we do. Following closely to this is our principles. Being Principle Designed means looking to scripture for the principles that guide how we live our purposes. These patterns for formal ministry are essential; but it all boils down to people. I create a ministry that is People Dependant because relationships are the tools of life change. Therefore what we do as ministry leaders is just as relevant as the design of the ministry. These four elements lay a foundation for building a ministry where students are equipped to change their world. Within this frame work all believers are equipped to minister to their unique environments. My vision is to see young men and women equipped to lead their friends, sports teams, and school clubs-- each person living their own personality but reflecting God’s love throughout the community.
