Distinctives

• An un-ending supply of creative ideas: from games, programs, videos, books, to uses for ketchup, creativity plays a large roll in my ministry and in how I process the opportunities around me.
• Passion for international issues. I live glocally and love to expose my friends to issues facing our brothers from all sorts of countries and backgrounds. I go on mission trips as often as I can and I love to lead people to understanding other cultures and especially how that frees us from our own expectations.
• A food network wannabe who loves to feed people and host parties.
• Problem solver who thinks about the big picture but is also committed to being a team player and making changes through long term relationships in key leaders
• I am a learner. I love to learn, read and solve problems.
• Expository preacher with fresh connections between the ancient world and the very present . I love to preach on current issues being brought up in the latest tv shows (Lost, Desperate Housewives, 24)
• Deep committment to the Lord and personal integrity. I have deep sense of stewardship for everything in my life.
• Spiritual Former. I created and regularly participate in unique spiritual exercises that help keep my life aligned to the purpose of God’s stewardship . My blog discusses a few of these.
• I enjoy making digital videos, telling stories, and vibrant communication: I created a website www.youthgroupvideos.com to house all the videos, but youtube put me out of business, but I still love creating videos for weekly ministry.
• My greatest skill: is to do nothing. You might have to read my philosophy of ministry to fully understand this one, but the things that I will be remembered for are the things that I have equipped others around me to do. I am an equipper.
